1491-01-22: Robert Walsh, Mark Patenson  c. Margaret Flemmyng  MarriageLondon Metropolitan Archives, MS DL/C/A/001/MS0906580r-82v
1491-01-27: Thomas Kent, Witness for Plaintiff
Testifies concerning the details of the marriage arrangement between Robert Walsh and Margaret Flemmyng`s parents, late June 1490. Testifies that he was present when Walsh and Flemmyng`s parents agreed that Walsh would not contract marriage with any other woman, and that Flemmyng`s parents and Flemmyng agreed she would wait for Robert to return from Ireland. Testifies that two weeks before his testimony he, on Walsh`s behalf (likely in his professional capacity as lawyer), and Margaret`s father John Flemmyng made the financial settlement for the marriage, and later that evening, or so he heard, Margaret Flemmyng and Walsh contracted marriage.
