Testifies that he witnessed a present contract between his daughter Alice Rokewode and Peter Hanham in December 1485. Testifies that Hanham later claimed to have been coerced into marrying Alice, after which this present witness and his daughter demanded Hanham go through with the solemnization. Hanham, he claims, had bought "ornaments" worth £9 for the nuptials, for which the witness had paid. Testifies that Hanham abandoned the marriage to his daughter about Lent 1486, before it was solemnized.
