1491-11-17: Thomas Wyberd, Witness for Plaintiff
Testifies that around Christmas 1490 he witnessed a future contract between his brother Laurence Wyberd and Maude Gyll at her parents` house, and that both parties exchanged gifts for the occasion. Testifies that Gyll admitted to a man named Gregos and to William Kemp of Epping that she and Wyberd had contracted marriage together.

1491-11-17: John Wyberd, Witness for Plaintiff
Testifies that he witnessed a contract around Christmas 1490 between his son, Laurence Wyberd, and Maude Gyll, in Gyll`s parents` house, conditional on her parents’ consent, which was immediately given. Both parties exchanged gifts for the occasion. Testifies that on 23 or 24 May 1491 he heard Gyll proclaim she wanted no other man than Wyberd as her husband and that Gyll urged him to set into motion the solemnization of her and Wyberd`s marriage by the end of September 1491.
